~ Just the Basics ~
Consulting services are typically billed by the hour. If you would like some advice on the basics, and still aren't sure if you need help from start to finish, this may be the best choice for your early planning stages. I can help you decide on a theme, offer advice on local vendors and venues, and help you put together a basic guideline and timeline of what you will need to work on. Our first discussion is typically over the phone at no charge. We can then set up a meeting to go over your plans in more detail. There is an hourly charge of $50, depending on individual events.
~ Day of Coordination ~
Day of coordination is for the bride who wants full responsibility for planning her own wedding, but may need a helping hand on the day of, to ensure her vision becomes a reality. Although this assistance is booked well in advance, I would typically become involved 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding to finalize the details with your chosen vendors, meet with you on site to see how you want the event to play out, and I'll work with you to create a detailed timeline for all involved so that you may enjoy your special day worry free. And of course I am there for the day of the event to ensure everything goes as planned. There is a minimum charge of $500, which is based on 10 hours of planning leading up to your event. Additional time on the day your of your event would be charged on an hourly basis.
~ Full Service Event Planning ~
As your full service planner, I would help from start to finish. In addition to the details outlined in "Day of Coordination" pricing, I would be involved with all of your vendors. I would visit and help to select reception venues, recommend vendors, accompany the couple to food and cake tastings and screen vendor contracts. I work with a variety of vendors who offer discounts to me for my referrals, which I could pass on to you. I will also send out invitations and track RSVPs. On the wedding day, I am available all day for troubleshooting, making vendor payments, handling last-minute details, and keeping the event on schedule. This package is based on your overall wedding cost and my fee is 20% of the overall cost of your event.... again with a minimum of $500.
